2021 Horned Beast GSM

Our take on a classic Rhone blend, this GSM is 80% Syrah, 10% Mourvèdre, and 10% Grenache that is aged in 50% new oak for a year and then finished in concrete for its final year of aging. Full of deep fruit and it’s own animal wine quality, the Artiodactyl is our reversion back to Horned Beasts as hoofed animals with keratinous material protruding from their heads. Majestic, furry animals that symbolize open spaces and frontiers and rabid wildness; things untamable. Well, this wine is kinda like that.
